School Day Timings

In common with all secondary schools in Moray Lossiemouth High School operates a 33 period week.  There are seven periods a day Monday to Thursday and five on a Friday.  The school day timings are as follows:

Period 1 — 08.45 - 09.35

Period 2 — 09.35 - 10.25

Interval — 10.25 - 10.40

Period 3 — 10.40 - 11.30

Period 4 — 11.30 - 12.20

Period 5 — 12.20 - 13.10

Lunch — 13.10 - 14.00

Period 6 — 14.00 - 14.50

Period 7 — 14.50 - 15.40

On a Friday the school day ends at the end of period 5, 13.10.

Our school uniform is now available online from our suppliers, Price & Buckland.  We have a jumper in school in each size in case you need to try these on for sizing.

GIRFEC — Getting it right for every child

With reference to the recently issued Moray Council GIRFEC leaflet for parents/carers, if you require to contact the duty named person for your child during school holidays please use the general enquiries line on 01343 563374 or email educationandsocialcare@moray.gov.uk

Child Protection Holiday Arrangements

The named person service must be made available to all children from birth to 18 years of age.  During the holiday period the Named Person Service will be covered by the Local Authority centrally.  The Duty Named Persons can be contacted through the general enquiries line on 01343 563374 or via the generic email address educationandsocialcare@moray.gov.uk during normal working hours.  As always, if the Named Person is not available and there is a concern for a child, a call must be made to Duty Social Work on 01343 563900 (08457 565 656 out of office hours) and/or the Police on 101.
