Lossiemouth High School prides itself in its community spirit. This is embodied in its prefects. Prefects are a friendly face around the school who can support anyone who needs help, as well as providing an orderly and safe environment at school. We want being a prefect to be something the younger years aspire to, so it is vitally important that all our prefects are good role models to the younger pupils.

The role of prefect involves doing duties around the school building at break and lunch times to make sure any issues that arise are dealt with swiftly and calmly. Prefects also represent the school to the wider community and we believe that that is something our team takes a great honour in doing.
