This year, all teaching staff are working in learning trios where they can observe each other, share good practice and experiment with different activities. All staff have a copy of 'Power up your Pedagogy' by Bruce Robertson, and they can use this book in order to set their trio focus for each term.

There is also a Learning and Teaching School Improvement Group with ten teaching staff members who will meet up on a regular basis and help to drive change across the school. They will be linked to each of our 15 learning trios so they can have an overview of how learning and teaching is being developed over the course of the year.

At the May 2024 inset day, within our trios and as a wider staff, we worked on active learning strategies and how these could be embedded further in the curriculum. The learning trios, along with the Learning and Teaching School improvement group, will take this forward in session 2024-25.

Throughout the year, there are regular staff CPD lunches where staff can get together and discuss learning and teaching.

Teaching staff also take part in 'Joint learning visits' throughout the year with a different focus on each year group where they observe each others' lessons and feedback on the strengths/next steps
