Courses Covered:

Standard Grade - 2 classes of 3 lessons each week.
PC Passport - 5 lessons each week (inc. 1 double).
Intermediate 2 &Higher - combined class with 5 lessons each week (inc. 1 double)

Courses all look at word processing, spreadsheets, databases, power point presentations and Desk top publishing (DTP) in depth depending on the relevant level your studying. Also you look at programming languages in slight depth during the 2nd year of Standard Grade and go into programming further in the intermediate 2 and higher courses. The PC passport course involves three levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced) and is available in 5th and 6th year. The advanced level isn’t available in school as it is very difficult to be completed in one school year.
